Intro
Yodeck for Tizen has some limitations compared to the Yodeck Player. The following features won’t work, particularly.
Apps
- Apps with Script code. More details are in the app compatibility table.
- Running custom script code on Web pages.
Playlist of layouts
- If both layouts (current and next preloaded) contain a video, the transition is glitchy, but the video usually continues to play.
Gapless Video
- Gapless does not work every time. (In heavy (with many apps) Layouts with videos).
- YouTube Live Streams
Screen Orientation
- Screen orientation is not supported on Tizen smart TVs through API. Instead, Yodeck is building two applications (yodeck-landscape.zip_ / yodeck-portrait.zip_)
Resolution
4K is currently not supported.
