Order Form for Partners

About

The quote request form is available for reseller partners who wish to prepay for one of the following:

  • Existing device quota 
  • New device quota without hardware
  • New device quota with free hardware

Resellers can prepay for terms of 1, 2 or 3 years.

To navigate to this form, a partner should click on the “Request a Quote” link on the quick links widget on their admin dashboard. This should look like this:


Form Presentation

The form consists of the following fields:

  • Account: The account that the partner is requesting device quota for.
  • Subscription Plan: The subscription plan of the account selected. Changes dynamically depending on the account selected. It can NOT be changed on the order form, and it is there only for reference. If a partner wants to change the subscription plan of an account, they should do so on the “Accounts” page of their Partner Admin Dashboard.
  • Prepay for: What the prepayment refers to. For each, an invoice and a prepayment will be created. Their specific effects are:
    • New device quota without hardware:
      • The number of device quota will be increased by the requested number.
    • New device quota with hardware:
      • The number of device quota will be increased by the requested number
      • The number of free devices given will be increased by the requested number.
      • An order entry will be created for the hardware requested.
      • The supplier will be notified to serve the order.
    • Existing device quota
      • It can be a renewal of an annual plan or a change from monthly to annual billing.
  • Quota requested: The number of device quotas the partner prepays for.
  • Term: The number of years the partner prepays for. It can be 1, 2 or 3 years.
  • Hardware: The type of player the partner wishes to receive. Distinguished by the RAM size of the player. Starting from the 1GB model at the price of $0/player, then the 2GB model at the price of $10/player, and finally the 4GB model at the price of $20/player.
    • It can be set only if “Prepay for” is set to “New devices with hardware”.
  • Device plug type: The type of plug the device should come with. Differs from region to region.
    • It can be set only if “Prepay for” is set to “New devices with hardware”.
  • Shipping address: The address to which the partner wants the hardware shipped. It is automatically set to the billing address but can be edited.
    • It can be set only if “Prepay for” is set to “New devices with hardware”.
  • Payment method: If there is a card on file, we preselect this for the partner, but the partner can select their preferred payment method.
    • Card on File
      • Once the order is accepted, Yodeck automatically charges the card on file for the order requested.
    • Payment via Stripe
      • Once the order has been accepted, Yodeck sends an invoice to the partner with a link that can be used to fill in their card details and submit the payment online.
    • Wire Transfer
      • Once the order has been accepted, Yodeck sends an invoice to the partner with the wire transfer details so the partner can transfer the necessary funds and complete the payment.

Below we present some images to showcase the form, with the variation of whether the partner has chosen hardware or not.

Once the user clicks on the “Calculate Costs” button, they are navigated to the intermediary page where they can review the request along with the costs generated. This looks like the following screenshot.

If the partner decides to adjust their request, they can click on the “head back to the form” link. This will lead them to the previous page, with all the options filled in, so they can edit them.

If the partner is willing to carry on with the request, they can click on the “finalize the submission” link. The final screen the partner sees is the following:

From now on, the partner can check the status of their request on the QuoteRequest table. This should look like this


Cancel action

If the partner, for any reason, needs to cancel their order request, they can do so from the Partner Admin Console. Upon cancellation, the partner receives an email confirming the cancellation.
