LG webOS Limitations

Intro

Yodeck for LG webOS comes with some limitations compared to the Yodeck Player. Particularly, the following features won’t work.

Limitations

  • Images should not be of higher resolution than the support of the TV. You should check the screen resolution on the status tab of the screen page.
  • Apps with Script code. More details are in the app compatibility table.
  • Running a custom script code on Web pages.
  • Gapless does not work every time. (In heavy (with many widgets) Layouts with videos).
  • YouTube Channel Live Streams.
  • WebOS does not support 180-degree rotation.
  • 4K is currently not supported.
  • Interactivity Apps (Interactive Library, Interactive Playlist, etc.) are NOT supported.
  • The Interactive Kiosk App is NOT supported.
  • Network Configurations is NOT supported.
  • Security Configurations is NOT supported.
  • Sound output (choose HDMI/Analog/Auto/Muted) is NOT supported.
  • Screen Resolution is NOT supported.
  • USB to HDMI Video Capture is NOT supported.
