Release Notes

• SmartSheet App: Add a SmartSheet dashboards and trackers to any screen. Use the new SmartSheet App to embed your published sheets, dashboards, and forms directly into your Yodeck screens. Whether you want to display KPIs in the office, task trackers on the production floor, or forms in your reception area, you can now do it in just a few clicks.
  You’ll find it in the App Gallery under “Dashboards.”
• Airtable App: Bring Airtable calendars, views, and forms to your screens. Now available in the App Gallery, the new Airtable App makes it easy to display your Airtable bases, calendars, or forms across your workplace. Show campaign timelines in marketing, onboarding forms in HR, or real-time task boards in shared areas. Simply publish your Airtable view or form and drop the embed link into the app.

Improvements

• Viva Engage articles
  You can now display Viva Engage Articles directly through the Viva Engage App. Just like other categories, each article can include a featured image and a scannable QR code. Viewers can scan the code to open the full article on their device, making it easy to share internal updates, announcements, or thought leadership across your screens.
  Available now in the Viva Engage App form.
• New API features to supercharge your Yodeck experience
  We’ve expanded our API capabilities to help you manage content and gain insights more efficiently than ever before. Here’s what’s new:
  • Schedule Management — Now via API
    You can now programmatically get, create, update, and delete schedules through the Yodeck API. Perfect for dynamic content planning and automation workflows.
  • Tag-Based Playlists – Full API control
    Take advantage of tag-based playlist automation. You can now create, update, and delete tag-driven playlists via the API to ensure screens always play contextually relevant content.
  • Screen Player Status & Tag Filtering
    Monitor screen status in real time with new screen player status APIs. Plus, gain fine-tuned control by directly viewing and editing media and screen tags through the API.
  • Playback Reports – Coming this July
    Do you need proof of play? The upcoming API for Playback Reports will allow tokens with permission to retrieve only playback data.

• Sub-playlist option: Repeat to reach max limit
  We’ve introduced a new option that allows you to repeat your playlist items when you’re using a playlist within a playlist. If you’ve chosen a maximum amount of time or items and the total number of items or time in your playlist does not reach the maximum limit, you can select the repeat items option to get better control of your playlist’s duration.
• Android APK setup
  Based on your feedback, we’re updating the setup instructions in our Android APK so that it’s easier to set up for your testing or final production environment. More updates coming soon!
• Ticker supports RTL languages
  You can now select the language direction for your ticker apps. If your RSS feed or text is in an RTL language, you can change the direction of the ticker to match it!
