Release Notes

• Import from 3rd parties (Google Drive & Google Photos):
  Users can now import files directly from Google Drive and Google Photos into Yodeck – no need to download and re-upload! They simply link their Google account, browse their connected Drive or Photos, and select the content they want to import into their Yodeck library.
• Dark Theme: We’ve added a brand-new Dark Theme to Yodeck! The interface can now operate in Light, Dark, or System mode, offering a more personalized visual experience. Theme preferences can be adjusted at any time through Profile Settings.
• Format part of a text in Layout Editor:
  As announced in the previous release notes, users can now style text directly within a single text box in the Layout Editor! They can easily apply different colors, fonts, and sizes to specific parts of the text – no need to create multiple boxes. This makes content creation faster, cleaner, and more flexible.
• Weather Wall App: Weather Wall brings live, real-time weather updates to Yodeck screens in an engaging, easy-to-read format. Hourly forecasts and key details such as temperature, real feel, humidity, wind, air quality, and visibility update automatically throughout the day. Perfect for lobbies, offices, factories, schools, and public spaces, “Weather Wall” keeps everyone informed at a glance. Available in the App Gallery under the Weather category.
• Nu.nl News App:
  NU.nl is one of the most trusted news sources in the Netherlands. With Yodeck’s “NU.nl App”, users can display fresh news articles directly on their screens. The content updates automatically, and users can customize the number of articles and visual style.

Improvements

• Remote device management:
  • Sony Bravia
    Yodeck now supports Sony Bravia Professional Display models through secure IP control. After enabling IP Control on the display, users can remotely reboot, power on/off, and schedule operating hours directly from the Yodeck Portal.
    Sharp ME
    Users with Sharp ME Series Displays running Android can now remotely power on/off, reboot, and update the Yodeck app seamlessly through the Yodeck Portal.
• NTP support for Android v2: Android APK users can now set an NTP server to ensure all players stay synchronized with their own NTP server. This capability already exists on Yodeck Players and our previous Android app and is now available for the latest version of the Yodeck APK. An Advanced/Production setup is required.
