February release notes

We’re starting 2026 strong. This release brings Google Drive Playlists, new Remote Device Management for Amazon Signage Stick, a smoother Layout Editor, expanded Yodeck API capabilities, and several other improvements. Let’s break it down:

  • New Features
    • Google Drive Playlists
      • Users can now link a Google Drive folder directly to their playlists, with updates syncing to screens within 5 minutes.
    • Amazon Signage Stick – RDM features
      • Turn screens on/off remotely
      • Check what’s playing on a display
      • View player and device status
      • Monitor device health without site visits
  • Improvements
    • Yodeck Layout Editor: New Capabilities
      1. Zoom & Scroll inside the canvas (so users can work comfortably on any layout size/orientation)
      2. Alignment Guides while dragging (thin guide lines when items align to other objects)
    • Yodeck API: New Capabilities
    • Language Option for Apps
      • Weather Radar: Users can change the language of the Weather Radar app.
      • Other Apps: For WikiQuotes, WiFi Share, Team Celebrations, Calendar Events Feed, Facebook, Instagram, Viva Engage, and Team Channels, the language setting works as follows:
      • Only Yodeck’s built-in text is translated.
      • This includes labels, headings, and any text generated directly by Yodeck.
      • Content coming from external platforms or APIs is not translated by Yodeck.
      • This includes:
        • Data retrieved from external services (e.g., quotes, calendar events)
        • Posts or media from social platforms
        • Text or metadata supplied by the API source
        • System messages generated by external platforms
    • Drag and Drop Media in Folder
      • Users are able to easily drag and drop assets into folders without multiple clicks.
    • Team Celebrations x BambooHR integration
      • Allows users to connect their BambooHR account and automatically display employee birthdays, work anniversaries, and new-hire welcomes. The app syncs with the user’s BambooHR database and triggers each item at the correct date.
